The word Twitter has been voted the top English word of 2009, beating ‘Obama’ and ‘H1N1′, the scientific name for the latest Swine Flu strain.

Study shows that Twitter users are younger than their Facebook counterparts
According to reports a US survey shows Facebook users are getting older and despite previous reports to the contrary younger users are fast adopting Twitter and helping to fuel its growth.

Facebook awarded $711.2 in damages
Facebook has been awarded $711.2 million in damages relating to an anti-spam case against Internet marketer Sanford Wallace, court documents show.
Wallace did not oppose the motion or appear at the hearing on September 18, 2009, according to a filing on Thursday in a San Jose, California federal court.
